I am an award-winning L&D professional, with a background in teaching and training in the further education, financial services and gambling sectors.
Since 2016, I have specialised in online learning and I am an active member of the Articulate E-Learning Heroes Community.
Outside of work, my interests include photography, yoga, reading science fiction and watching action movies.
I have been married to my wife, Katy, since 2009 and we have two children, Matilda and Henry, who often beta-test my work for me!

I lead international teams of designers to deliver the digital learning strategies of large multi-national companies.
I have worked in the corporate L&D space since 2013. I am passionate about improving the quality and effectiveness of workplace learning
As a Learning Delivery Consultant for Direct Line Group, I designed and delivered training for new starters and existing staff in motor bodily injury and fraud investigation roles. It was there I caught the ‘e-learning bug’, developing blended solutions to optimise the time spent in the classroom and improve learner outcomes.
As Digital Learning Manager at Commercial Express, I created original eLearning content, curated third-party content, and oversaw all technical, financial, and operational aspects of their Learning Management System. I was also closely involved in marketing and promoting their LMS to their customers.
In November 2019, this partnership training model won MGA Initiative of the Year at the Insurance Times Awards.
As Head of E-Learning at Entain I introduced a new design approach based on Dr Michael Allen’s Context, Challenge, Activity, Feedback model.
I developed scenario-based learning solutions to meet specific business needs, including a recruitment screening test used in Entain’s Manila contact centre. This saw a marked rise in the quality of candidates and faster speed to competency during their induction.
In September 2023, I joined Litmos as their Director of Learning – Training Content.
